ReadyNAS 2100 Capacity

We have ReadyNAS 2100 rackmount. That currently have 4 disks of 1 TB each.

I want to expend the capicity so can you tell us what is the maximum disk capicity i can install? I want to use 4 disks of 3TB each.

Is that supported or not?

Thanks,

Gaurav Agarwal

Re: ReadyNAS 2100 Capacity

According to this thread it "should work" https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS/2100-Expansion-Problem-4tb-drives-x-4/td-p/9137...  And at least one user has done it successfully.

But there are no 4 TB drives on the HCL for the 2100, so it is not supported by Netgear.

Re: ReadyNAS 2100 Capacity

Do you have the v1 or the v2? If you have the v2 it would say so in Frontview

3TB disks should work with either. I would stick to enterprise disks. Please note that if you use disks outside the compatibility list support may be unable to help.

The v2 should be similar to the Pro 4 in what disk capacities will work.
