ReadyNAS 516 doesn't properly connect to eSATA drives after 6.6.1 Firmware update
I was waiting for this new 6.6.1 firmware update for a while now hoping it would fix my eSATA drive reconnection issue which is known issue on 6.6.0. But after the update, the NAS stop connecting to my eSATA drives the way it was. It would report a device connection. But the device would not show up on the home page which means I can not format or eject the drive. Also it would not browse the device. I had to manually downgrade back to 6.6.0. After the downgrade things back to normal again.
I think Netgear should take this update back for now. This issue is a major function one. It would stop normal operations.
Thanks,
Dennis
