I have two NAS machines on my network (a business network). One is the ReadyNas 4312, which works fine and shows up in RAIDar. It backs up to the second NAS, the ReadyNAS NV+ (RND4410). The second NAS will not show up in RAIDar, even though I know it's on the network because the 4312 successfully backs up to it despite not being directly connected. Is there a way to fix this, or are there other ways to access the files on the 4410? A file was accidentally deleted off the 4312 and we're hoping it's still on the 4410.

Yes there are. RAIDar isn't necessary for access, it is just a convenience. Personally I normally don't use it to access shares or Frontview.
Try entering https://nas-ip-address/admin in your browser, (using the actual IP address of the NAS of course). That should first give you a security exception you need to click through, and then you will be given a login prompt for Frontview (the NAS admin client). That will confirm that you are using the correct IP address, and that it is reachable from the PC. While you are there, you should check to see if the NAS is running current firmware (4.1.16 for an NV+ v1). If it's not, then you probably should update it (after you get your file back).
You can then directly access NAS shares by entering \\nas-ip-address into file explorer (note the opposite slash direction). Note that Microsoft is deprecating SMB 1.0, so if you are using Windows 10, you should first go into "turn windows features on and off" and enable the SMB 1 client on the PC.
If you are only looking for one file, then you could alternatively enable http access for the backup share on the NV+, and then browse to http://nas-ip-address/sharename You should then be able to locate the file and download it from the browser. Similarly you could enable ftp access to the share, and use an FTP client like WinSCP or FileZilla.
Although RAIDar isn't necessary to access the NAS, it should still be able to find it if the NAS is on the same subnet as the PC. It uses broadcast ethernet packets to find it. Sometimes internet security software can get in the way, but that isn't the problem in your case, since the 4312 is being found.
FWIW, it isn't wise to just deploy a NAS and then ignore it. You should be logging into it from time to time, and at least check the disk health and volume fullness.
