ReadyNAS NV+ copy of VMWare Fusion VMs SLOW!
I am trying to copy a virtual machine from the mac (Snow Leopard) to my ReadyNas. It ends up copying less than a megabyte per second (much less!). What is going on? Any suggestions? I started a copy and it hit 200 hours and was increasing ... so I gave up on that.
I have tried both the AFP and the CICS 'mappings' but both seem to be about as slow.
If I copy to an external HD it takes a few hours but 200?
The VM is XP.vmwarevm and is about 160gb. The mac is wired to the router, the router to the ReadyNas. I am wired to an ecg machine that says I am about to go mad...
