ReadyNAS NV+ stuck on "Booting Please wait"

No RAIDar doesn't give me any information about firmware version.
I will download the disk diagnostic tools and see how far I get. I have 2 x Seagate Barracuda drives, and 2 x Samsung drives. Can I use Seagate's ESwin program on the Samsung drives do you know? A Google search suggests so. And is it the Windows version of SeaTools I need for the Seagate Barracuda drives?

I don't own any Samsung drives, so I don't have any direct experience there. The Windows version of SeaTools is what you want for the Barracudas.
