Readynas 104 - Very slow, almost unusable

You could also just uninstall clamav, instead of disabling it.
That is true. It could be un-installed with:
apt-get remove clamav*
Thing is, that I don't know how the NAS will react if the default services file tries to enable it, but the package is gone? Never thought about that.
I believe uninstalling clamav will also remove the service files.
