Resilio Sync vs. ReadyCloud desktop App

My Ready NAS 212 is suggesting "REsilio Sync" as a "Featured App" on the web browser interface.

Should I try and install it and use it instead of the ReadyCloud desktop App that is on my Windows PC?  Does REsilio Sync" do a similar job to the ReadyCloud desktop App? i.e. keep files synced between folders on PC and NAS?

That's up to you.  Netgear's "featuring" it doesn't mean that they are recommending it as a ReadyCloud alternative

It should be able to do that.  I use it's selective sync capability on my mobile devices - which is a convenient way of downloading content on the NAS onto my devices.  However, I'm not running it on my NAS - instead I host it on a Windows server that has the NAS data volume mounted as a drive letter. There is a paid "pro" version available for the PC, which I am not using.  But there might be some restrictions in the NAS app that aren't in the free PC version.

Resilio Sync uses peer-to-peer technology (e.g., it's based on torrents).
