V+12 voltage in enclosure Internal is out of spec. (10.72 V).
I am getting since yesterday this error message, repeatedly:
V+12 voltage in enclosure Internal is out of spec. (10.72 V).
Nothing changed, no recent update, I am running 6.6.1 since near 4 months now
My data integrity is vital for me.
Is this message meaning a near PSU/hardware failure or a sensor only issue ?
Is there a way to know the error source ?
If it is PSU: is there a way to change integrated part ?
Please help
Best regards

Unfortunately, that's most likely impossible to tell for sure. If the voltage is out of spec, then it's a problem, even if it appears to be working. If it's not out spec, then it should work without issue.
Now, what's out of spec? Good question. If you really want to explore in that direction, I would first try to measure the actual voltage as Sandshark suggested. If you consider PSU tolerance, then 11.4V seems to be the minimum 'in spec': https://www.lifewire.com/power-supply-voltage-tolerances-2624583
Though I do not know for sure what is the minimum voltage on the 12V that the different components would "accept", I personnaly wouldn't feel comfortable if it's not within the standard PSU tolerance. Then the components are not designed to work it, and you may encounter random issues. Not exactly what you want with your data storage.

Assuming that's on the Ultra2 you have listed for your devices, it sounds like a bad power brick. It's a standard 12V, 5A brick. You can buy them lots of places, you may even already have one for another device.

Ok, many thanks, I will look at my existing external power bricks if I already have one spare and give a feedback
And yes, it is on my old Ultra 2 that works perfectly for now.
Ok, I don't have any such one at home. When shopping online, how can I be sure the output plug is the same and will fit ?
Netgear doesn't sell such spare parts ?

Unfortunately they don't.

There are part numbers on the label, googling them will help.
You can also just look for a replacement ultra-2 brick. That will usually turn up some results: https://www.amazon.com/Netgear-ReadyNAS-replacement-supply-adaptor/dp/B00KT4GDEE
