Very high RX error rate
Hello,
We are using a ReadyNas Pro 6 with Western Digital Red Hard 3GB drives using X-RAID2 in a small business environment - about 17 total users. The ReadyNas is connected to the Active Directory environment and the shares were set up accoriding to the article from Netgear. i.e., adjusting network security permissions from the Windows Explorer using the Active Directory Admin account to change permissions.
I've been getting several users saying that they are getting error messages when they are trying to save to the the ReadyNas, such as "The doucment couldn not be saved. The file cannont be found." or "The picture might have been deleted or you migh have lost your network connection." - Network connection was never lost...or "Path does not exist. Check the path and try again." When the path clearly exists. They've also have had several other similar error messages. The errors are random and it someone will be able to save where as another won't be able to save.
I've also recently replaced the network switch (there's only one switch).
Today I was checking things out on the ReadyNas Admin console and I clicked on the Show Errors button in the Network Interface section and it show that there have been 0 TX errors or drops, but there have been 4294967295 RX erors and 2230RX dropped out of a total of 8897645157 RX packets! That's an extremely high error rate. What could be wrong? Seems like this could be a strong likelihood of what's causing the errors...is there anything I can do about this?

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserYou could try replacing the cable, and/or using the second ethernet port.
