admin name

It can't be changed

if it can't be changed from admin what's the point ?

I'm having the same problem, can't change the username from admin.
I know it can be done, as I had a different username when I initially setup the NAS.
I was then having problems where it wouldn't let me change the password, so have done an OS reinstall to reset the default
username and password.
And when I got to profile-settings to change the password, it won't let me enter anything into the secret question and email address fields.

You can add a new username of course. But admin is built in, and cannot be changed.

That's strange, because up until yesterday when I did the os reinstall, I wad using the login name 1600dave for the admin account.

You have a newer model than a Duo and would have created a ReadyCloud account. This option is not available to Duo users.

Yep have the RN104, however I still don't see the option anywhere to rename the admin account to what I previously had it set to when logged into ReadyCloud

There is no rename option at all. You had created a ReadyCloud account which also gets admin access.
