cannot create symbolic link Error

Yea im hesitant to use Rsync as my understanding of it (correct me if im wrong) is that i have to us FTP etc to access the files (I cant simply just go into the drive and take what i want)
my back up is an assortment of HDDs in an old Win 7 machine using drivepool to make them into a single drive / share this way if my Nas were to fail, and or on of my backup drives i would still be able to go into the backup on any windows 7 machine and retrieve specific files as needed to rebuild, not reliant of a Deltacopy server
i may have to just back up the shares individually as you mention and ignore the system / add on files
mdgm have you received my logs? any idea what could be causing the IO error?
my main reason for doing a backup at this point is i have two new 3tb hdds that i want to install, but thought i should get a good backup first
