iSCSI Volume showing inactive
I have had 2 iSCSI targets on the Pro6 readynas and one of the targets show inactive. When I use the MS initiator to logon, it says service unavailable. I am not using any security.
In the system log, it shows unable to locate target portal gropu on iqn.2011-02.ma-storage.abc.local:iscsivmdata...then next line is iscsi login negotiation failed.
I rebooted the server, but not the readynas yet - but find the error odd when I am not using authentication.
Any ideas?

Re: iSCSI Volume showing inactive
Not sure why this became an issue as we never did use any CHAP login, but when I added CHAP to the LUN - it worked....so I left it working with one drive with no authentication and another with.

Re: iSCSI Volume showing inactive
I also ran into this problem. I enabled CHAP, saved, disabled, saved, and was able to connect again. Thanks
