iSCSIPrt errors in windows event log

Occasionally, I'm seeing iSCSI errors between my Windows server and my ReadyNAS3200, which to be associated with users experiencing a slowdown in network file performance.

For instance, this morning there was:

ID: 129   Unknown event description

39 Initiator sent task manager a command to reset the target

49 Target failed to respond in time to a Task Management request

9 Target did not respond in time for a SCSI request (multiple events)

63 Cannot reset Target or LUN

And finally

34 A connection to the target was lost, but Initiator successfully reconnected to the target.

Anyone have any luck dealing with these issues?  I'm having trouble nailing it down.

    Hello jimhelfer,

What is the FW version of the NAS? Also, how's the speed in accessing the files stored to the NAS via SMB and other file protocols?

The ReadyNAS 3200 doesn't typically have specific issues related to iSCSI slow-downs. This sounds either related to over-saturating the NICs or faulty networking between you and the ReadyNAS. I'd check to make sure you are not dropping packets on the network settings log and also making sure your volume's file system state is healthy (see the volume log)
