riciculously slow backup on 104

Hi, trying to back up a 104 to a locally connected usb hard disk ( plugged in to the back) so i can finally be shot of the disaster that is 6.4.1, trying to copy about 3tb of data on to a 4tb drive,...

the system is doing nothing but the backup, not being used as 6.4.1 is for me at least, unusuable

Try disabling the antivirus if you haven't already!

Try to read the topics that mrfloopy posted and try disabling the AV feature of the system.
