reset admin password via ssh

Hi guys
I have foolishly forgotten my admin password.
I never really need to logging to the admin section as i mostly mount an nfs share and deal with it remotely with ssh.
I was wondring if there was a way of reseting the frontview admin password through the CLI?
I have ssh access with my account and i su to root.

I have tried the password recovery but the password will not send out and i cannot seem to find out why.
