Cant log on to my WN3000RPv3
I just bought a N300 wifi extender, WN3000RPv3. I pyshed the wps button on the router and have a connection. Using my samsung tablet, I find the new _ext network but i can not log in using the wireless key of the router. What have I done wrong?

Hi Olebull,
Please factory reset the WN3000RPv3:
Insert a paper clip into the Factory Reset hole and hold it until the Power LED blinks amber
Release the button.
All the LEDs turn off for about three seconds.
The Power LED lights solid amber for about 30 seconds.
The Power LED lights solid green.
The extender returns to its factory settings
Then "Connect with NETGEAR genie Smart Setup" (page 11 of 43)

Thank you. This solved my problem.
At my first effort i could connect with a lan-cable but not wireless. Now it works wireless as well.
- misplacedkansanAspirantI've done this on mine and no prompt for a username, but only my ssid, and at that point, it's stuck in an infinite loop for the configuration web page. I've tried moving it directly next to my router like the docs recommend and another reset, but it still doesn't work.

Which router are you using with the WN3000RPv3? Please update the router to latest firmware.
Please confirm that the WN3000RPv3 performed a full factory reset (not a power on power off)
Connect your computer to the WN3000RPv3 via an ethernet cord. Disable all other internet connections on your computer.
Open a browser and login to mywifiext.netThen follow the on-screen instructions.
At the final screen, you can disconnect your ethernet cord and connect to the new WiFi network.
