EX7000 Extender and Genie

I have a new EX7000 Nighthawk range extender that i got on 9/2/16 and have it set up and running. My problem is i down loaded Netgear Genie to my Samsung Note 5 but i can not login the Genie. I wasted three hours today trying to long into the Genie. It want accept the original password ( password ) or my EX7000 password that i made when i set the Ex7000 up. I have deleted the app and then down loaded it again but no luck with it. I need all the help i can get.
