My Network: AX3600 Insight Managed Router (Firmware version 10.2.0.16), AX1800 Mesh Extender (Firmware version 1.0.3.36) Issue: I recently got a new router and a range extender to help cover my whole house, but I’m running into a weird issue. When any device (phone, desktop PC, laptop, iPad) connects via the extender, it loses the ability to connect to some websites. For instance, I can connect to Facebook fine, but if I try to connect to Twitter, it fails to load. When I try to connect to those sites via the Wi-Fi from the router, everything loads perfectly. The Nighthawk app sees my SSID from the Nighthawk Ex7000 Ac1900 Wi-Fi Range Extender but will not connect. The range extender is working properly, devices are connected and operating but the Nighthawk app will not connect. Firmware Version V1.0.1.70_1.0.2 I find that there is an option "WPA2/WPA3-Personal" for WIFI Security setting in the Nighthawk app but missing it in the Web interface. If I change any wifi settings by the web interface, the security setting in both the web interface and the app will be completely set as other options instead of "WPA2/WPA3-Personal". Didn't NETGEAR notice this problem? I'm surprised no one noticed it after all this time. The "WPA2/WPA3-Personal" is completely missing in the web interface setting.😢 Please fix it. Hello, I've manually via the webpage configured my EX7000 and it's working great, however when trying to add it to the Nighthawk app it wants me to connect to SSID "NETGEAR_EXT". That doesn't seem to show up, just the networks that I have configured do. I'm also on one of those networks with the phone I have the app on, but it seems that I have to be connected to the SSID above. So my question is: is there a way to add an already configured extender to the Nighthawk app without resetting the router and starting over? AC1900/EX6400v3 Range Extender. My range extender worked flawlessly for seven months and now refuses to show up on my list of available networks. Multiple factory resets and re-installs by the book. I'm close to just throwing this thing out the window. So - there's a Nighthawk app and and actual Nighthawk router product. (I can't be the only one thrown by this). Trying to setup an EAX20 extender to go along with our CAX30 modem/router using the latest version of the Nighthawk iOS app. Every time I had tried to do so, the EAX20 gets stuck on trying to connect to the 5G signal (screenshot attached). I had left this overnight in the past and no luck. I have tried closing the app and restarting the process but then the app is unable to join NETGEAR_EXT network to even initiate the process. When connected to my network, all devices give me this error: NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID I've reset my modem, both through the app and routerlogin.com. I've replaced the coax, sent refresh signals from Xfinity, and checked that the timezone and firmware is correct and up to date. Possibly unrelated, but also every time I go in to admin settings, it makes me put a new admin pw and sec questions. It doesn't save it from last time. My extender is working but I cannot login to the app, I've tried resetting the extender, tried clearing cache, can't reset password, can't use routerlogin.net or mywifiext but I was able to login on the computer. How do I get the login to work on the app? Using an s10 phone?704Views0likes0Comments
