Hello Guys,
By reading the User Manual before buying, I found something which annoying me...
On page 19 from the User Manual, I found :
In access point mode, you can connect your computer or WiFi device to the extender only using a WiFi connection.
So... IF in Access Point mode, the 4 others LAN ports are not usable like a switch ?
Isn't it ?
Thanks for your time.

Re: EX7000 as Access Point - LAN port still usable ?
Sad time... I just received it and it is an DAO 😞
Unfortunately, I came across a defective product at unpacking.
I wanted to set it up in Access Point mode, but it did not detect the DHCP server.
After I configure a static IP, I set the wifi but nothing happens, the web interface shows me that the channel 0 is assigned both 5Ghz 2.4Ghz that ... Of course, no PC or iPad, or Smartphone finds the SSID (configured yet broadcasted).
I performed the upgrade to the latest release. Same symptom.
I try to factory reset and put it in its simplest config. Still does not work.
I try as a repeater configuration, it does not detect wifi close (although a lot can be received).
So I think that the product is defective at the opening. Too bad, but it can happen.
I prefer not to continue the adventure with a replacement model.
Then Netgear does not work with DFS 5Ghz channels in Europe.
I put it in US region, I got more channels but still buggy.
So sad 😞
Amazon return.
