Ex6100 connection issues with motorola moto g 3rd gen phone
Ex6100 2.4ghz connection issues with moto get 3rd gen phone. The 2nd gen phone recognises the 2.4ghz extension, saves it and maintains the connection. The 3rd gen phone does not seem to recognise the ext as a wpa2 enabled connection. It only allows options for Security of None or 802.1xEAP. WEP or WPA/WPA2 PSK are not able to be saved if I choose them. Is there an incompatability? Anyone had any experience of this? Motorola points me to Netgear for the answer!

Hello seasider556
I would try to forget the network on the phone and then try to reconnect to it. the phone would have a wifi network saved with old settings causing the issue.

- Seasider556AspirantThanks Darren. The thing is it doesn't offer an option to forget as it doesn't save the connection in the first place. I can make it connect with entering the password but it drops it straight away and reverts to the base WiFi connection which is a weaker signal. If I try to pick up the Netgear WiFi connection it again asks for the password as it hasn't saved the connection.
