How do I wirelessly setup r7500v2 as a repeater for my r6700v2

So here's a little background on the situation..

After troubleshooting I've determined my AC2350 router to have bad WAN and LAN ports.  I've only had it for just over a year, so I'm pretty bummed about it.

Skip this paragraph if you don't care to know the steps I took to troubleshoot the WAN/LAN ports.  So one day I stop getting internet connection.  I check my router and the LED light for the internet is turned off.  I unplug it and plug it back in, still nothing.  I disconnect the router from the system alltogether and plug my PC in straight to my modem (CM500), and it works just fine.  So i factory reset my router and modem and plug everything back in.  Internet LED on router is still off.  I take an ethernet cable and plug it into the 1 & 2 ports of the router to perform a loop test.  No LED's ever turned on.  I performed the loop test on all the WAN/LAN ports... nothing.  Only thing I can do is use my phone to access the router wirelessly, but it seems the usage is limited and keeps saying something like "there is no ethernet cable plugged into the internet port on the back of the router".  Thus I determined my WAN/LAN ports went boom.

So anway, I purchased an AC1750 router to replace it.  I'm hoping now I can setup my AC2350 router as a repeater in my home, but I can't figure out how to gain access to the router because of my bad WAN/LAN ports.  Any advice?

Thanks,

Jay

    Hello Jay

I would factory reset that unit by holding the reset button for 10 seconds then access it with the default wireless info that should be listed on the sticker of the unit.
