Mac OS Sierra: How to reconfigure Netgear EX6200 to connect with new router/wifi network?
We changed cable/internet services. Our Netgear EX6200 is configured to connect to the internet through the router/modem of the previous cable/internet service. I need to reconfigure the EX6200 to connect to the new modem/router.
Using MacBook Air, OS 10.12.2.
All instructions I've found online refer to using the Netgear Genie app. In the first place, I can't figure out how to find, download, or use Netgear Genie. In the second, that method seems to applicable to Windows, not Mac.
I've followed the instructions about placing the EX6200 next to the router, pressing the WPS button, waiting 2 mins, pressing it again, and frankly, that seems silly when the EX6200 has been configured already for a previous network. And those are the only instructions, that and using Netgear Genie.
Any help with this would be most appreciated!

I have an EX6120 and am using it with the Mac OS with no problems. I suggest you download the user manual at the NETGEAR Support website and read CAREFULLY the section on WPS setup. If I understand your description of how you attempted to setup the extender with your new router, you pushed the WPS button on the extender twice--that is incorrect. You must press the WPS button on the extender first. Then, within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.
Good luck!
