My EX7300 stopped working :-(

From time to time by EX7300 will just stop broadcasting so I just perform a factory reset and reconfigure - I find this is the quickest way to solve it (until now).
After I perform the factory reset I get the solid green light to confirm it has performed its boot, but i'm until to see its local network to begin reconfiguring it nor am I able to connect to it when I plug my computer straight into it via ethernet - I just get a 169.254 address.
I've tried resetting it multiple times with no success.
Can anyone help?

default ip address during setup is 192.168.1.250
You can try recoving it with tftp or nmrpflash.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash

It’s definitely still in “extender” mode.
Anybody know what the default IP is? Thinking I can just my laptop a static IP on that range and connect that way?!
