My Netgear WN30000RP wifi extender does not deliver IP address to incoming connections
Hello all,
I have this device for 3 years now, latest firmware (also tried previous firmware). Did a factory reset and re-configured.
My base station (Zyxel router, not new, used to work with it) sees the incoming connection from my wifi extender and gives it a local IP address (http://192.168.178.175/).
But when i try to connect any device (phone, laptop,..) to my wifi extender, the connection is established, then it says Obtaining IP address, but stays there, then comes back in error.
Searched the forum, there are a few similar posts, tried the proposed solutions, not working. I'm not using MAC filtering on my base station.
thanks for your ideas,
Hello,
no,
but in the mean time i made another factory reset and started all over the configuration with the setup wizard, and it's working fine now.
So not sure what was the initial proplem,
but thanks anyway for your feed-back,

Hello Hlalibe
Have you added the MAC of the extender and the devices connecting to the extender to your routers table?
