My password doesn't work now for my WN1000RP and every tip has failed (2nd request)

My password doesn't work now for my WN1000RP and every tip has failed (2nd request)

I tried resetting the modem, I tried the NETGear Genie on my IPAD, I tried turning off the Extender, I tried logging on thru the INternet.....nothing worked. It neither takes my regular password or the admin/password default.

All I did was go to a WIFI Hotspot. When I came back, instead of going to the #####_EXT automatically, it now asks me for my password which it now won't take. It never did that before.

I use an IPAD 2 with IOS 9. I upgraded to IOS 9 when it first came out, so I don't think that is the problem.

Thanks for any and all help.

Lee

Thanks

The one that FINALLY worked (thank God) is that I reset my settings back to default and then started over. (I didn't even get to try the NEtwork Profile deletion)

Everything has worked well now.

Must've been that d**n IOS 9 update.

Hi leefoo,

Are you experiencing the same connection issues when you connect to the WN1000RP with another computer/device?

Please see the following discussion on iOS 9 connectivity issues:

=============

Yes....my wife can't connect either now. I will check those links out and see if they are helpful.

I saw this on another thread:

"Hi JJ249,

Please confirm that the reset was a reset to factory defaults (page 31 of 35) :http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/WN1000RP/WN1000RP_UM_20Feb2013.pdf

Which router is connected to the WN1000RP?
On the device (such as laptop) that you are using to the WN1000RP, can you please delete the Network profile and reconnect?
For example, on a windows PC, you might already have in your networks the profile to your extender. Remove this network profile and reconnect."

How do I do this?

Thx

Lee

"How do I do this"............referring to deleting the profile on my PC. I couldn't find it anywhere.

Thx
