New AX1800 can’t find router during initial install
I'm trying to install the AX1800 WiFi mesh extender on my network. It keeps indicating that it can't find the router, thus there is no internet and the installation process stops. The router is of course seen by multiple other devices.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

What actual extender do you have? AX1800 is a speed.
Did you set it up using WPS or the installation assistant?

Re: New AX1800 can’t find router during initial install
The model is EAX14. I have tried the nighthawk app and WPS.
I am also finding that I lose internet connectivity whenever I try to add the extender. As soon as I remove it’s power the internet connectivity returns.
My router is a TP-link AX4400

Re: New AX1800 can’t find router during initial install
what firmware is on the extender?
Try factory resetting the extender and installing it using the installation assistant.
Don't use wps or the app.
