Switching from Extender to AP (Model EX6400)

I have the AC1900 WiFi Extender Essentials Edition (model EX6400).
I originally set it up as a Extender which worked well but now I want the AC1900 to be and AP.
What I did was connected a Cat5 cable from my router to the AC1900 and switched the switch on the side to AP. Everything seems to be working very well and I'm seeing great WiFi signal strength and Speedtest numbers.
My question is… is there anything else I should do to do to take full advantage of my Netgear in AP mode, or is what I did all that needs to be done?

Re: Switching from Extender to AP (Model EX6400)
I usually re-run setup but if its working as it should, I wouldn't worry about it.
did you log into its settings page to ensure its running as an access point and not still in extender mode? (shouldn't be an issue)

Re: Switching from Extender to AP (Model EX6400)
I just got in to my settings and it does say Access Point.
That was a very easy changeover.
THANKS for the help in confirming that all is well.
