WN2000RPTV3 Very Slow Download Speeds

I have a WN2000RPTV3. The download speed 10.22 is very slow Up speed is 11.68. The extender is 15 feet away from the main Netgear R7000 router. Download speed 86.06 Up speed 11.65. The speeds should fairly close. Any help here.

Check to see if both your router and extender are using recent firmware:

Please also change your WiFi channel on your router:

The problem isn't with the R7000 when I connect to it the speeds are high. It's when I connect to the Netgear extender that the speeds are very slow.

Please try and confirm the questions above.

Yes, but we would like to see if it is an issue with a connection between the router and extender.

Also test your Extender's WiFi, when placing the extender in the same room as the router
