WN3000 V2 FIRMWARE CORRUPTED ALL .CHK FILES NOT .IMG
V3 DOWNLOADS AN IMG FILE BUT V2 DOESNT. ALL FIRWARE VERSIONS.THE UPDATE WILL NOT TAKE A CHK FILE OR A FILE RENAMED TO IMG.
well looks like the server web site is working now .
There are 2 web sites to get the new firmware? http://downloadcenter.netgear.com/ with the drill down
This gives Firmware Version 1.0.0.36 which is an IMG file and it loaded! server now says 1.0.0.36 is the latest.firmware
The other is http://www.netgear.com/support/product/WN3000RPv2 This site gives a newer version but its WN3000RP-V1.0.2.64_1.1.86.chk
Its a chk file.The release note even says its a chk file.
But http://www.mywifiext.net. won't accept it. Popup says " Please assign the correct file.The file format is "*.img""
Changed it to .img. No GO .
Please fix this site.
