Grazie. Diego.Solved6.4KViews0likes4CommentsAT&T Nighthawk M1 Issues - Using as Modem with Google OnHub Router connected to Ethernet
Hello All, I recently purchased the newly released Nighthawk M1 from AT&T (https://www.att.com/devices/netgear/nighthawk-lte-mobile-hotspot-router.html#sku=sku8550255). I am having some odd issues, however. Right now, I have the unit configured in IP Passthrough Mode (with WiFi disabled). I also have all of the DHCP and routing functions off - as I have the unit connected to a Google OnHub AP - and simply want the Nighthawk to act as a modem. For some reason, the ethernet on the Nighthawk seems to quit working every night, though - and I either have to unpug the unit and reboot or perform a factory reset. During the day, though, everything seems to work fine. The status light also blinks amber constantly. I have also removed the battery and use the wall charging unit only. Can the unit be used as I describe - as a modem with a router connected to it? Do I need to reconfigure something? Prior to purchasing the Nighthawk, I had the same setup connected to a ZTE2700A (AKA AT&T WHPI) and I never had these sorts of issues. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!
Question la connexion EX3700 à EX3800 qui répète un signal marche-t-elle? Merci d'avance de vos avis éclairés.Solved1.4KViews1like1CommentRouter Speedtest - slow compared with other wired devices on network
In trying to understand why my wifi speeds are so slow since v1.12.0.18... I performed the SPEED TEST option from the Orbi app which uses the OOKLA Speed Test service to test the speed between the router and the internet (no wifi involvled). It seems strange to me that the router is consistently between 35% and 50% slower than the other wired connections on my network. Here's my results from the Orbi app: and here's the results from the OOKLA app on my iMac: Both connecting to the same switch and to the same broadband connection. Shouldn't the router be capable of the same speed as the other wired devices on my network? How can we ever achieve wifi speeds that get near the possible bandwidth available if the router itself does not perform to its potential? Has anyone else seen this with their own set up? (I rund the router in AP mode if that helps) Thanks in advance Matt PS - my wifi performance overall is now terrible since V1.12.0.18 with nothing else changing (no moving of satellites, etc). I am currently getting <20Mbps (if lucky) where I was achieving 10x that - c. 200Mbps - previously.wifi to LAN bridge
I have recently moved from having a separate office to having one in my rented house. The internet is supplied by Sky through one of their modem/routers and it works...ish. My router is downstairs in the lounge and my office is now shoe-horned into a small upstairs bedroom and I have several devices in the office that are connected to each other via an Ethernet switch (which was fine in the old office where I had direct access to the router's LAN port). I now need to get the switch on the LAN reliably connected to the router. So far I have a mains-routed extender and this works okay but there is a fault with them in that they often lose the LAN connection. It is a known fault that I learned of AFTER buying them. I cannot run CAT5 from the office to the router and I cannot reposition the router. Somehow I need to bridge my office LAN, via WIFI to the Sky router. Buying a new router and associated bits is not out of the question but I have yet to ask Sky for the settings (their router came ready configured). Any suggestions? Steve.SolvedRipetitori NETGEAR multipli nella rete: quale risponde a "www.mywifiext.com"?
Salve a tutti. Grazie in anticipo, Davide ErricoSolvedNetgear N600 as a repeater?
I have an Apple Time Capsule connected to my Arris SB6141 modem. I have an additional Netgear N600 router that I want to connect to my network and use it as a wifi extender while also being able to run ethernet cables from the ports to have wired connections in another part of my house. How can I set this up? I was wondering if they will all be on the name network and not create an additional wireless network also. Thanks in advance.20KViews0likes6Comments
