AV-over-IP - SDVoE
8 TopicsYamaha DM7 and Netgear AV
Hello to all. I have some problem with Yamaha DM7 and Rios's in shared Dante network with other devices. Everything looks fine except Yamaha's dante devices rack mount. All devices are showed in Virtual mode, but works good, audio passes, preamp control is already ok, but I can't patch directly from Yamaha. When connected straight without Netgear switch everything works fine. Was trying Dante, Shure profiles - no success. At the moment there is only primary network with devices in switched mode. All other devices in the network are good, included dante audio and control data in the same network. Thank you for your minds.1.7KViews0likes4Commentsm4500 - Idle power / idle noise level - not listed in specs (M4500-48XF8C)
I realize this is a top of the line switch and not expected to be quiet or low power draw, however the only information I can find in the PDF spec sheet are the maximums (ie: max power draw w all ports in use = ~394 watts, maximum ambient noise at 77 Fahrenheit = ~ 67 decibels) My question is (even if a rough estimation), what is the idle power draw as well as the ambient noise level for a netgear M4500-48XF8C (assume 4x optics or even no optics, installed) - I'm just trying to get some rough idea. The PDF specs do say there is some kind of fan user fan control, as well as the noise level is reduced when both power supplies are connected to mains voltage (but no details beyond that are given). thanksSolved1.1KViews0likes3CommentsM4250 - Black Magic
Hey All, First time posting here. Here is my situation that I could use some help with. I purchased and installed some Netgear M4250 switches throughout my venue. Using the Engage software, I've setup a few VLAN's with them, Lighting, Audio, Video, etc. Each of these VLAN's have a DHCP server from one switch. The system I setup is isolated from the internet on purpose as I want to maintain minimal network traffic over the system. I'm looking now to get a Black Magic Web Presenter into the video network. This device has one network port that is designed to both handle the setup/control of it and additionally, push video to the internet. Putting this device on the network I setup however doesn't work because I don't have internet on the network. On my video switch I want to be able to have the following 3 ports. Port 1) connects to the rest of my network with an AutoTrunk while utilizing the Video VLAN with it' own DHCP Server. Port 2) connect to another network I have in my building that provides internet. This network has its own DHCP Server. Port 3) my Web Presenter that takes traffic from both Port 1 and Port 2. IP Address of the device would live in the range that comes from Port 1. How would I configure this in the M4250.2.1KViews0likes5CommentsM4300 stack with over 10Gb lag groups
Hey I would like to make a stack with six 10Gb links between two m4300 switches. I use Ligtware Ubex vido converters from with two DAC cables that go to the switch. When sending 4k images, the lag group is about 12Gb in size and the switch can manage the lag group well. The Stack between the switches does not know how to divide the LAG group into several 10Gb lanes, but tries to put everything in one cable and the next lag group in another. Is it possible to get the stack to handle LAG groups with a data flow of more than 10Gb?406Views0likes0CommentsLayer 3 switches that Perfectly Balance Features and Value #M4300 #Blog
