Some of my photos and files will not show on iPhone using ReadyCLOUD app. When I open a folder usiung the app, I can see some thumbnail previews and not others. The photos with thumbnails will open. The ones without will not and I get the exclamation icon shown below. The photos were taken at the same time with same camera. Loaded the same time with same formatting and are similar in size. I cannot figure out why some files load and other do not. Also...this is for all file types not just photos. Any ideas? Thanks3.2KViews0likes6CommentsReadyCLOUD iOS app
After a recent update 6.9 the app Wont display second level of information in my folders over my wifi but it can when just under LTE on my phone. it's quite annoying as I don't want to be browsing my folders from my phone using my data. So the question is why won't my wifi let me see folder contents on the app. On my laptop it's fine (on wifi) and I can see all the contents. Just not on the app over wifi. Hope that makes sense Thanks3.6KViews0likes9CommentsReadycloud windows 10 App 1.16.1297.525
I have Windows 10 operating two computers. There was a recent Windows 10 update (July 2017) from Windows. I made the Windows 10 update to these two computers last week and the previous version of ReadyCLOUD for Backup and Sync on these two computers. The previous version of ReadyCLOUD (prior to 1.16.1297.525) was working just fine on the Windows 10 update. Today, my ReadyCloud App said there was a new update (1.16.1297.525) and I proceed with the ReadyCLOUD App update, however, during the install process I got the following message on both computers: "Error Opening file for writing" "Program Files (x86)\NETGEAR\Remote\Bin\Incomservice.dll" Now what do I do to get past this Error in Windows 10 and get the ReadyCLOUD to install on my two computers?7.3KViews1like12CommentsPLEX does not show up in APPs on 6.6.0 Ready NAS 104
I have 6.6.0 firmware. I know this used to show Plex under "APPS". Now it does not. I have read the other thread that is marked solved, but it's unclear what "solved" it. That thread mentions multiple random factory resets and also mentions downloading PLEX from PLEX and uploading it to the NAS. I'd like to know what the real solution or next steps are to troubleshoot this issue. I would rather not do a factory reset. I think I actually had it set up once, and removed it. Now I'm ready to focus on it, but it's not showing up.7.3KViews0likes45CommentsReadyNAS Windows app does not work
The RAIDar app (6.2) correctly identifies my NAS, but the ReadyCloud app tells me that I have no registered devices. Also the discover page on http://readycloud.netgear.com/ tells me that I have no devices. The ReadyCloud app also crashes, saying "Too many automatic redirections were attempted" (This is Windows 10)Solved6.1KViews0likes12CommentsReadyNAS Pro Business Edition - No folder in SSH

When rebuilding a Ultra 6 Plus that had a bad RAID (800GB missing in a 14.4TB array), I had serious problems getting Apps to work. Original System: U6+ (4GB RAM), OS 6.4.1, 14.4TB array. Apps installed: Transmission (as backup: installed but not normally active), Sickrage was NOT installed on the original system. Rebuild procedure: Removed disks and zeroed, Factory reset, started with 1 3.6TB HD to rebuild array. Did a restore from previous build, then added Transmission, Sickrage from Apps>Available Apps. Here's what happened: Transmission: config.json file showed rpc port set to 9091, rpc whitelist at 127.0.0.1. Fixed by SSH'ing in then manually editing file to change port to 8181 (to match ReadyNAS "Launch" specs) and adding 192.168.0.* to whitelist. Web interface available. Sickrage: No files present in /apps/sickrage/app-config. Zip. Nada. Nothing. I considered adding everything in by hand, then decided to rebuild differently. to see if I could fix it. By doing another factory reset then adding apps BEFORE the restore, everything appears to be correct (Transmission: good settings.json file, Sickrage has files in /apps/sickrage/app-config). HOWEVER, when doing an initial update within Sickrage, it breaks the app. The config files are there, but the web interface no longer comes up. I then uninstalled then reinstalled Sickrage to see if it would come up: After reinstalling, there were once again No files present in /apps/sickrage/app-config, so the default install seems to be broken. Apparently, doing a full restore permanently kills the ability to add/change/upgrade/reinstall apps. Is this a Apps problem, or a problem with how OS6 treats App installation after a restore? I suspect the latter. Would choosing to do a partial restore be possible? Is this a "Services" or "Misc" Restore problem? I would rather not have to rebuild my shares, users, services manually. However, if it is the only way to work around the problem with this obviously broken Restore, I'll do so. Logs downloaded and available upon request. Comments, anyone? I'll be doing yet another factory reset and a partial restore to see if I can get around this. <sigh>ReadyCloud App Setup Corrupt
I had the ReadyCloud App installed on My Window 7 computer. Last night the App wanted to uninstall and update it with a newer version of the App. I indicated yes and it proceed but did not install. I logged into my ReadyCloud account and clicked the "Get the ReadyCloud App" in the lower felt had corner of the Home page of ReadyCloud. When click the "Download ReadyCloud App" it starts fine and then it comes up with a screen at the bottom of my screen that says you want to Run or Save. I click Run and it starts, but then it ends up with a screen at the bottom of my screen with a read bar and the text says "The signature of the ReadyCloudSetUp.exe is corrupt or invalid". I tried save.. same error. Now what do I do to reinstall this App on my Window ?2.4KViews0likes3Commentsremove all traces of readycloud desktop app
I like many others am having problems syncing using the ReadyCloud desktop app. I would like to uninstall the app and remove all traces, including saved user settings, from my PC in order to try a truly fresh install. When I reinstal it currently, it automatically logs me in and loads my ReadyNAS. I do not want it to do this. I want it to be like it's never been on my computer before. I've deleted all the folders in my windows user folder and i've deleted all folders and files from programs(x86) folder. This has not worked. Is there a "removal tool" for the app like there is for other programs for complete removal? Please help if you can. After hours and hours of trying all the other sync "solutions" in all the other posts, I'd like to try this one and hope it works.3.8KViews0likes3Comments
