We are having trouble with our kids playing games on school Chrome books. I can find the IP address on the Chrome book but cannot find it in the Orbi app. Why are they (4 chrome books) hidden in the app. I want to be able to pause their connection.Parental Control and Anywhere Access Broken
So Anywhere Access and Parental Controls have been intermittent for years. Have tried all the “fixes”, but still not working for more than a few days at a time. Lately, I’ve noticed that the Anywhere Access will stop functioning, and when I get home, the Parental Controls have stopped logging activity for the same period of time as the AA was non-functional. All other devices in the home are functioning normally, and I can access the doorbell camera and security system in my Orbi network just fine, but the Orbi App cannot find my router. When I get home, I have to restart the router to force the Parental Controls to begin logging again. Is this happening to anyone else? Hi, I bought an Orbi Mesh WiFi router and can access the interface using my computer and through the Orbi app on my Android phone. I want to be able to use my Apple iPad also, but when I try installing the app from the App Store, I get a message on the iPad that says I need to upgrade to ios 14. The problem is, that the iPad is an older model, and can only accommodate up to ios 12.5. I can't upgrade it past that. Is there an older app version available? I called the Netgear support center and was told there isn't. I shouldn't have to purchase a new iPad for an app to work. I encountered something similar with the Spectrum TV app, in that I was able to watch TV on the iPad for years, until it too required ios 14. I have Orbi model RB750. While the devices seem to be working at full strength, I cannot connect my iphone so that the app will complete and load. I have tried to manually choose the Orbi network with Iphone settings and have no issues, however the app doesn't seem to recognize this connection. Hi Community Ive used my Orbi for many years with excellent results, but recently I tried to access the router via the mobile app and even though my phone is connected to my Orbi router, the App keeps saying it cannot connect 😞 The App prompts me to connect to my Orbi net work, but I am on my Orbi network! Ive uninstalled the app, restarted my phone, re-installed the app, re-setup the app and still no connection. The last time I managed to connect, I changed the settings because the Orbi satellite was clashing with my internet router. Since I changed the setting the routers have worked well together but I cannot access the Orbi management. However, the speeds I am getting from my Orbi have slowed down and I want to improve that. I believe I need to do a firmware update too. I managed to speak to Juliana from Netgear via the live chat on 22 July. She told me that a technician would "call me in 5 - 15 minutes" after about an hour I chatted to her again and she then wrote "Please wait for just 3 hours and you will get a callback." To this date I have not received a call 😞 I clearly explained I was based in Europe and gave me phone number and none of that was a problem to receive a call apparently. But then no call was received which is a disappointing customer experience. Please help me, I am more than happy to pay for the support Thanks MichaelOrbi App
Hello- I have just started having a problem opening the Orbi App. I click on the app and it comes right back and says "Orbi has stopped" with two choices. The first is to close app and the second is send feedback. My RBR20 is still up and running and I am connected to the internet with all my wireless devices. Everything seems to be running fine except I can not get to the app. Can you help?? Thanks for you time and effort. I purchased 2 of these routers with 1 satellite for each. Upstairs: - I set my Telus modem to bridge mode. - I set one of my Netgear routers and connected it to my Modem (Port 1). - I set up a satellite and have it connected to this router. Downstairs: - The second router I purchased I set up as an Access Point by logging into OrbiLogin.com and using the setting there. Used dynamic DNS as recommended. - Ran a cable from the upstairs router and plugged it into the router I set up as an Access Point. - The second satellite I set up downstairs and it seems it is connected to the Access Point router. Both the Access Point and Main router have the same Wifi login (username and password) so it seamlessly switches between them. My issue is that when logging into the Orbi App and the Circle App I get which ever router I am connected to at that moment. So I don’t get all my household devices on either App, only what is connected to whichever router at the time. I thought you could not use the Orbi app with a router in Access Point mode, did I miss somthing when setting up the access point (I followed the directions in the help section on this website, just logged in and selected the setting.) Any help would be great! Thanks!
