Router web software to manage individual devices.
Hello, I am looking for a router that would have the ability using either a browser or mobile app, that would allow me to restart the wi-fi on an individual device. Right now, the router I am using I have to turn off wi-fi for all devices in order to restart the wi-fi on 2 cameras that have issues (long story). So I would like to just be able to select the device that would "appear not online" and restart the wi-fi, avoiding having to do this for the entire wi-fi system. Right now doing that with these 2 cameras fixes the issue. i can only control the priority of internet on these cameras, but i want to control the wi-fi connection to it. Does any router in the Netgear (home) space allow this to happen?Nighthawk iOS 2.7.2.19 Unable to Rename Devices
Hi All, I’m unable to rename the device names in the device manager tab of the Nighthawk app !! Also I dont get an option to choose the device icon type, its just as you see in the attached screenshot, just a dotted circle !! iOS version 2.7.2.19, Attached screen shot for reference.Is netgear Ac3000 model 7900 compatible with Disney's circle?
I am looking to purchase the Circle for parental controls. I checked the following site https://support.meetcircle.com/is-my-router-compatible-with-circle for compatibility of netgear routers and found that ✓ AC3200 Nighthawk X8 R8000 is supported. The router I have seems to be one version prior to the one that is tested as per the Circle support website. Has someonne successfully added parental controls with the Netgear R7900 router ? Ok, I recently bought the Nighthawk R8000, and I'm pretty dissapointed with what it appears I am unable to do, so please let me know if anyone has a solution for the issue below. I want to restrict websites / Keywords on my Kids 5 devices while still allowing unrestricted access to all of the adult devices. I do NOT want to have to login to an app/program just to bypass everything, ie. Genie Bypass account. At the very least is it possible to block websites for specific devices? For example I would like to block Youtube on my kids computer but not on my phone, computer, and TV. Thanks for the help, and hopefully a solution.
