DHCP Reservations
2 TopicsFirmware 2.1.3.4 - Issues Log
Good Afternoon Everyone, I was hoping to start a simple issues log thread here for 2.1.3.4 as I see multiple items popping up, and trying to decipher in a central spot might be worthwhile for product development at Netgear. I'll kick this first one off with an issue with DHCP reservations. I have not had the time to run a packet capture to see how the DCHP server is responding on the Orbi, but at the moment none of my devices are being fed their assigned DHCP reserved IP address. Authenication is working for WLAN to access a SSID, but IP address assignment is not occurring and failing for devices. Any feedback or detatiled documentation would be greatly appreciated for any item within this thread! Not all DHCP Reservations are displayed in Safari or FireFox
As listed my cable modem is the C7000-100NAS AC1900. I've added about 9 DHCP reservations, mostly for WiFi connected devices that either don't have a way to set a Static IP or they are laptops/iPads that I don't want to setup as using Static IPs as they move from location to location. The problem is now I want to DELETE certain rservations. However the table on the C7000's Advanced/Setup/LAN Setup shows me only 4 reservations. Any of these 4 I could click the radio button and "Delete." THe only place I see all 9 reservations is if I first clicke "Add" and then that displays a complete table. However in that table I cannot Delete any of the entries. I tried selecting one and removing the vital info (MAC and setting IP to 192.168.0.0) but then I get an error message. How can I view the complete DHCP Reservation list so I can delete reservations. (edit to add:) Firmware version is v1.01.15 Note: I've also used the current NetGear Genie Mac application but it does not appear to hand the DHCP Reservations at all. thank you qbSolved2.7KViews0likes4Comments
