Utilizzo D6000 come wifi extender
Buonasera sono in possesso di un router D6000, dato che sono passato a Tiscali 4g+ vorrei utilizzarlo come wifi extender dato che in alcune stanze della casa non arriva il WiFi e non ho la possibilità di passare dei cavi ethernet. I purchased this system 2 months ago and in our 2500 sq ft, 3 level home, coverage and performance have been exceptional, however once you go outside to our patio - which is less than 25' away from the satellite unit - we have seen a major problem with Skype/FaceTime performance (freezing, choppiness etc), which I want to deal with. For this particular scenario I do not feel the purchase of another Orbi satellite is warranted, but I am looking for advice on making this work. I do not have LAN port installed outside, so this would have to be an extender/AP device solution I would think. I was thinking of getting one of the Netgear range extenders, but I honestly don't know if this is going to make my setup overly complex, and if I can get integration to the point of having a seamless transition from Orbi to extender connectivity if someone is, for example, walking with iPad on FaceTime in the house then walks out to the patio where the signal was degraded before. I have read many negative accounts of people trying to do this, so I am hoping that the `Orbi users' can provide some real world context for me on how they solved this issue. Bonjour, Je cherche à étendre le réseau hotspot Orange. Connexion d'un smartphone sur Hotspot Orange (sans EX6200) Le reseau hotspot Orange est ouvert, la connexion se fait sans clef wep. Une fois connecté en wifi, il faut entrer un login/passwd sur une page internet Orange qui s affiche automatiquement. Une fois les login/password entrés, je peux naviguer sur internet avec mon smartphone. Connexion d'un smartphone sur Hotspot Orange via EX6200 Le EX6200 se connecte bien au hotspot d Orange. Mon smartphone se connecte bien au hotspot étendu crée par l' EX6200. En revanche quand je tape une URL sur mon smartphone, j ai un message d erreur disant qu il n'y a pas de connection internet. La page Orange qui permet d' afficher le login/password hotspot Orange ne s'affiche pas sur mon smartphone. Y a t il des paramètres particuliers à configurer dans l'EX6200 pour étendre un hotspot Orange ? Modele EX6200 AC1200 Wifi Range Extender Version firmware : version V1.0.3.76_1.1.111 Petite précision: mon EX6200 fontionne très bien pour étendre mon réseau wifi Orange perso sécurisé. Hi, I have an EX7000 connected to my R7000 in extender mode. However, after a day or so the devices connected to the EX7000 start having connection problems and when I try to disconnect and connect again it's not possible until I reboot the EX7000 and sometimes I have to reboot the R7000 as well before the EX7000 to get back in business. This is really annoying. I have not had problems like this with the R7000 which is rock solid. I have the latest firmware on the EX7000 and I have the connection to the R7000 on a fixed IP, 10.0.0.2. The R7000 has 10.0.0.1. The DHCP range is 100-200 so there's nothing else wanting extender address. Is this buggy firmware (I have had that kind of problem with Netgear in the past), or is it something I can do so my network stays up and running for more than 24 hours?
