FastLane
3 TopicsFastlane: Iis it all its cracked up to be?
I have an EX6200. Been using it the conventional way for ages. Wondering if I should change to "fastlane"? Is it all tis cracked up to be? What are your impressions? I know one cannot specify a channel to use unless its in fastlane and that is a plus but does fastlane actually improve speed and capacity etc?2.7KViews0likes1CommentEX6200 FastLane Issues "mywifiext.net’s server DNS address could not be found"
Right after I enter the password of the network and click next, I get a window with a sad face and a message saying "mywifiext.net’s server DNS address could not be found". What could be causing this? After this happens, I no longer have an internet connection, but I can turn the extender off and back on and have my connection back up. I updated to the latest firmware, tried it several times and always get the same results.1.9KViews0likes1CommentCan't access mywifiext.net after enabling FastLane
I just bought two WN3500RP range extenders, and am trying to configure them for FastLane, and am having consisten problems with both once I enable that mode. Both are running the current firmware: V1.0.0.22_1.0.62 After configuring FastLane for 5GHz as the link, and 2.4GHz as the device access, I have consistent difficulty gaining access to the device again with any of these methods: http://192.168.1.250 ping 192.168.1.250 http://www.mywifiext.net/ http://www.mywifiext.com/ ping www.mywifiext.net Same behavior over Wi-Fi and the WN3500RP Ethernet port Silly question based on the above issues: Does enabling FastLane disable access to any additional configuration by design?3.2KViews0likes1Comment
