GS308P DC Barrel Connector Size
Hi there, Does anyone know the size of the barrel connector on the GS308P Router? I need to add a right angle adapter to the end of the connector, and I’ve tried both 5.5mm x 2.1mm and 5.5mm x 2.5mm and both are too small. I’m hoping someone has the official size as it’s not listed in the specs anywhere.Help with Inter-VLAN Routing on New XS728T
Hi all I am hoping for some advice We are replacing our current GS724Tv3 with XS724T We are downsizing from 3 to 2 I have been tasked with configuring the new two I am having some difficulty with the inter-Vlan traffic and was hoping for some guidnace or advice. A small breakdown of our networks We are a webHosting Company and have many clients. The Two new Switches will be our main Core Switches We have basically 3 Egress options for the internet. We have Unfiltered(direct internet connection) VLAN1 We then feed to a DDOS system and back into the switches as a Filtered Network VLAN2 This i have working fine. My issue comes with our backup internet line. Currently sitting in vlan1 and being monitored and managed via a proxy system the ISP controls. I need to feed VLAN2 from this connection if the main line goes down bringing the ddos line down. How would i setup the inter-vlan routing for this case?GS305E not switching to 802.1q Advanced mode
Hi, I have three GS305E switches which all have problems switching the VLAN mode I'd like them all to run on 802.1q Advanced but always get the same problem: upon switching the mode I get the popup that all other vlan configuration will be lost but after pressing 'ok' nothing happens. The selection is greyed out and so are the delete/add buttons. If I reload the page the previous configuration is still active. Any help? ThanksNetgear GS752TP

Hi, Just joined the community and hooe you all are keeping well! I was fortunate enough to install fibre to the home. I receive about 800MB downlink which is great, but the Netgear switch now seems to be the bottleneck. I phoned my broadband provider and complained that I was only getting 100MB downlink. Their support investigated and discoverd the 100MB link constraint between the router and switch. My route is a Technicolour DGA4134 which is a Gigabit router wth 4 1000MB ports. Currently my set up is to have 1 ethernet conneciton between the router and the netgear switch. All other devices are connected to the switch. Q1 Is my understanding correct that the maximum the netgear ethernet switch port will support is 100MB? Q2 Should I be using the 4 ethernet connections of the router, i.e. each 100MB to maximise the bandwidth? Thererfore acheiving a combined 400MB. Q3 Can I bond the 4 switch ports to create one larger broadband pipe to improve the pacekt management? Q4 if the above is not possible, is there an alternative Gigabit unmanaged switch which can be recommended? Thanks for your help in advance. Ian
