4 TopicsGS108T not responding and all LED are turned on
Hello. I have a Netgear GS108T that worked great for many years. But starting today, it's no more the case. On the network side, no more packet goes through it. And I cannot access its web interface. On the physical side: All the LED of its front panel are turned on. The power led is orange and the 2 LED of each Ethernet interfaces are green. When I remove the power cable, wait 30 secondes and plug the power cable again: All the LED turn on immediately. I searched in the manual but cannot found the meaning all the LED turned on. Do you think it is broken ?SolvedOpen managment website GS108T
Hi, I have 2 GS108T managed switches. Because i lost the password i found a Kb to set the switch to factory default. After the reset i can set a new password with the discovery tool but i cannot open the website. The IP adres is correct and the switch is responding to ping. What can i do? Looking to use both the rear LAN1 and LAN2 port in parallel, I found different concepts like bonding, teaming and LAG (Link Aggregation Group). If I select a bond on a RN516 between eth0 and eth1 (LAN1 and LAN2), do I also need to setup a LAG for the two GS108T ports to which the RN is connected? What would be the best teaming mode for the bond when using RN516 with GS108T?Solved4.9KViews1like3CommentsGS108 to GS108T but only 100Mbps between them?
Hi, I have both a GS108 and a GS108T connected together. The GS108 has two PCs connected, both connecting at 1Gbps. The GS108T has 6 100Mbps devices (avr, blu-ray player etc) and a gigabit Asus router connected. However the connection between the two switches is only showing 100Mbps? Any thoughts on why this would be? There's only about 15m between the two switches so I don't understand why they won't connect at 1Gbps. Are there special ports on them for connecting between the two switches? Many thanks, Paul.Solved8.5KViews0likes4Comments
