Hey! as i understood there's lots of new feautures to come in 2018 within Insight. however i would like to start this thread to give an overview what i would like to have / see in future. maybe this can help out the dev team to priorise development according to the community needs and maybe even bring in some new ideas/feautures. would be great to have the community answer here kinda a request for feautures.... i've been playing arround for the past 3y with Cisco Meraki. their cloud solution is the top of the mount everest. now i rock netgear (WAC505) - i'm hoping netgear can catch up and become a good solution in future. feautures i'm missing / i'd like to see detailed traffic analytics / protocols and ability to see an overview what end device is consuming what / how much guest access (confirmed in another thread) ability to generate QR Codes / Pincodes -> facebook already implemented, great changelog on FW upgrade etc -> better visibility, easyier usage place access points/switches/devices on a map (google map) heat map scan frequencies and see what AP's are on what channels -> be able to choos another frequencies/channels in dense areas live data analytics (maybe in dashboard?) disable Lights on AP's trough App/Dashboard would be great if other users can add their wished here btw is there any chance to participate as beta user? Hi, Not sure how many of you use Access Control Lists (Allow Mode) with your configurations. I have recently added three WAC 510 APs to my configuration. Prior to that I just used a Netgear Nighthawk X6 R8000 for all my Wifi needs. Being somewhat obsessive about things, I have been using Access Control for all of the devices that connect to my router. That ACL is still in effect now, even though I have all but one wireless devices now connected to the APs. Although I'm not sure why I'm so obsessive about this (another topic), I would like to transition my Access Control from the router to the APs. I am managing those APs using the Insight Management App. I haven't been able to find any way to batch input allowed MAC addresses for the APs. There was a way, although with some bugs, when I was managing the APs locally via a web browser. Is there a batch method, or do I have to painfully enter the MAC addresses one at a time for each AP via the app?2.5KViews0likes1CommentA Message to Insight 2.x customers from the NETGEAR Insight Team!

Just wanted to say I'm very impressed with the ease of deployment when using the Insight 3.1.4 app. It easily detected the new GC110P switch, the new WAC505 access point as well as my pre-existing ReadyNAS 314 storage device. The notifications are a little bit spammy on a reboot but are easily cleaned up. I was really impressed with the ease of setting up the WiFi network settings as well as managing firmware upgrades on all three devices all from within the Insight app. I'm looking forward to seeing what Netgear does next going forward.
