Hello, Have written before but never had a reply. I need my LB2120 LTE modem to send me a message when it fails over to 4g but I cannot find a data plan that also will send a text so it would be great if we had the option for sending an email. Has anyone else found a carrier that sells a pay as you go data plan that will also send a sms message? Thank You, Troy10KViews1like5CommentsLB1120 SLOW SPEED WITH ATT SIM
This is my 3rd LB1120 modem. I first install was 2 at work off a Sonicwall, for fail over connection. They had slow download speed at first of 5mbps down. Yet my cell phone was getting 28mbps down in the same spot. Both on ATT, but different bills. ATT try saying modem couldn't reach the 4G lte tower. And I was in a 3G area and that was the best they could do. So they did get fixed by a installer of wireless modems. Something on the ATT side. Well my 3rd LB1120 is for me. And max download is .5-3mbps. And now my phone is getting about the same speeds. Its like add the Netgear LB1120 trigger something in my ATT account that slowed my data plan down. I was getting 16 to 30mbps at home before the new sim card was turn on. Anyone ever have this happen? I'm on the 2nd week of phone tag with ATT support. 5 new sim cards between my phone and modem.Suitable plans for LB1120 4G LTE Modem
Recently, I got one 4G LTE Modem. I have several questions about how to choose a SIM card: 1. Which service provider should I choose? 2. What kind of data plan should I choose? 3. Do some providers have pure data plans? Some more questions: Will I get a static IP address if I keep this device always at the same place? If some friends have the experience, please help me to solve my concerns. Thanks!LB1120 Public IP Address and DyDNS
BACKGROUND I have a LB1120 with an ATT IoT SIM card installed. I can connect to ATT LTE service. My LB1120 is in bridge mode, which presumably means it is IP pass thru mode. Unfortunately, when I connect to ATT using the LB1120, the LB1120 provides a private IP address to the router it is connected to. I can confirm this, when heading to ping.eu to retreive the public IP address. PROBLEM My router supports DyDNS, but the problem is the LB1120 provde a private IP address, my router will use the private IP address to update the DNS records. QUESTIONS 1. Is this a bug in the firmware for the LB1120? 2. Or is this a limitation of the ATT IoT data service? Can I use LB1120 on a GSM network?
I have a couple of solar power installations in Haiti. I would like to monitor them over the internet. Can I use this device on the Digicel or Natcom network? I believe both networks are GSM. I would, of course, obtain a SIM card in Haiti. I do not have WiFi available at the sites, and I would need a cellular connection for a wired internet connection. (The required data rate and volume are quite low. The device being monitored will be connected using Outback's Optics RE.)LB1120 Product Manual, Registration, and Firmware
BACKGROUND I received my LB1120 on Feb 15 and got it up and running without too much trouble. There was no Users' Manual included nor is there a UM on the Netgear support site. I had to use the manual for the EU version (LB1110) QUESTIONS 1. When will the UM for the LB1120 be avaiable? 2. I tried to register my product, except the LB1120 is not aviable in the registration model drop down. 3. Logged into the web interface, when I attempt to check for new firmware, it reports some sort of problem when checking.Solved
