Hi, I just updated the firmware and got thes on my router, now I cannot connect my apple devices anymore. I cannot find anything about this version and on the website the latest version is 12.06.11.00 - I downloaded the official version from the website and to manually update the firmware, but always get an error: invalid update file error code 16 I´m really lost - what shall I do?LM1200 - SMS Alerts
I've been using the Netgear LM1200 as 4G failover since May 2025 with everything working perfect. Every month I perform a test to confirm failover and sms alerts still working as usual, however for the past few days and several tests I'm not receiving the text alert for any event. When logged into the LM1200 settings page, a popup does indicate message was sent - just not receiving text notification at any number I assign. Any tips or feedback would be appreciated!!Loss of IP connectivity
This old thread doesn't seem to reach a conclusion and I am experiencing similar problems with a Netgear Nighthawk M1 running firmware version NTG9X50C_12.06.39.00 In my case the M1 is getting it's IP address from the 4G mobile network operator. Because the DHCP request from the M1 is going out over the LTE interface I have no way of using wireshark to see what is actually happening. As the M1's admin interface does not appear to allow me to see the detail of the lease assigned to it I am unable to identify DHCP lease renewal as being the root cause. As the M1 does not allow me to do the equivalent of IP config /release /renew my only recourse is to either wait for it to mysteriously start working again, or reboot the M1. Around midnight on most nights, when the M1 has a Vodafone UK SIM in it, I experience loss of IP connectivity to the wider internet. At no point is there any evidence that the 4G signal has dropped. If I wait long enough, then data packets start reaching their destination again. If I reboot the M1, then data packets start reaching their destination as soon as the reboot completes. Oddly, when the M1 has an EE UK SIM in it I do not experience the same regular loss of connectivity. This makes me wonder whether Vodafone has implemented a much shorter lease time (24 hours) than EE, or whether the interpretation and implementation of DHCP is subtly different between the carriers (assuming DHCP is the root cause). Any ideas - or ideally a fix - would be great.SIM unlock domains not working
Hello, My unlocked M1 connects to my devices, I’m all logged in, and the signal works, but I am prompted to unlock my SIM to connect to Internet. However, the suggested http://attwifimanager and routerlogin domains and IP domain do not load I have cleared cache and done everything suggested. There is no support for M1 on mobile app Any advise would be much appreciated Traveling in ItalyTwo Netgear Nighthawks, MR1100/2100
Hi, I apologise in advance if this has been covered elsewhere or if this is not the correct forum for this question. I have two Telstra (AU telecom provider) Netgear Nighthawk 4G mobile broadband modems (M1 & M2 in Telstra parlance, so MR1100 & MR2100 in Netgear-speak) for home use (batteries out, mains-powered only) as well as a small pocketable ZTE MF910 4G modem mainly for use in my car or when out and about (all modems remain on, so transmitting & receiving throughout the day). The 2019-2020 bushfires that devastated our region here on the far south coast of NSW in AU did nothing to improve our telecoms infrastructure here and with no fixed (NBN) internet in our home, I acquired the two modems to enable a (relatively) reliable internet connection. To enable this, I have 3 different SIMs from 3 different providers (mobile reception often doesn't work on one or the other from time to time, so I just switch to a different modem). The MR1100 one is connected by Ethernet to an Apple Airport Time Capsule to provide computer backups, WiFi coverage & printer access throughout the apartment. Preamble over, given that there are two Netgear Nighthawk MR-type modems, is there any problem that they have the same gateway 192.168.1.1 (apart from the administration web page being the same), despite the IP addresses being different (2˚ to different ISPs)?
