Backup via NMS300 stopped working after firmware update on M4300 switches
Hi All, I have multiple M4300 switches, SRX5308 firewalls and WC7600 controllers. I automatically backup configuration of all these devices via NMS300. Recently I updated firmware on all switches to the latest version (12.0.2.15). Since the upgrade my scheduled backups stopped working and I get an error "File Transfer Failed". Backups of the SRX5308 firewalls and WC7600 controllers still work. I tried switching "File Server Settings" from local to remote server as per NETGEAR recommendations but it does not help. Hello everybody, we would like to use NMS300 to save the config of our 40 Netgear Switches automatically every night, but it seems that this requires telnet to be enabled on all switches. Is this by design or did I miss something? Transmitting a password for administrative access in cleartext over the network isn't best practice - to say the least... Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
