Hi, When my Readycloud starts up it shows me "offline". I think it is because the IP address of my NAS changed as I installed an Orbi WLAN which now servers as the primary node for all my devices (NAS, PC, powerline all by cable, printer by WLAN). Does anybody know how I tell Readycloud the new IP address? Everythind else works: I can access the NAS via web portal and windows explorer and raidar also finds it but in the Readycloud admin page is not accessible. Sincerely Carsten1.5KViews0likes1CommentReadyNAS 3138 has error message Bond interface bond0 has slave interface eth3 offline
After a firmware update to 6.9.0 I received and error message saying Bond interface bond0 has slave interface eth3 offline. I then updated the firmware to 6.9.1 but am still getting the same error message. Extract from logs attached.Solved1.3KViews0likes4CommentsReadyNAS 104 online but not available on ReadyCloud
We have a ReadyNAS 104 which we use for backup. It's running the latest 6.8.0 firmware. ReadyCloud is enabled and logged in with an admin account. The admin page shows internet and services available: But when we log into ReadyCloud with the same admin account, it shows the NAS as being offline: We need remote admin for this machine. Any suggestions? Thanks!Solved2.5KViews1like3CommentsApache2 not starting, admin page is offline, shares and SSH are still available
Over the weekend I set up PHP, MySQL, and phpmyadmin and moved my web-based database to the NAS. Everything worked except the htaccess. I got that working Monday and tested it all out with great pride. Then I rebooted (to replace the UPS) and when it came back up, I could not access my subdirectories in the www share online. I received an email from the NAS saying that there were errors in the PHP install. I went to try to uninstall it, and I got an error that it couldn't be uninstalled. Then all the web pages were down including the admin page. Port 7082 (phpmyadmin) isn't responding either. I used SSH to log in. I tried to restart apache, but it failed saying: apache2[4034]: [error] server reached MaxClients setting, consider raising the MaxClients setting I can still access the shares through the network, I can access them through https://readycloud.netgear.com/ as well as my iphone app. I just can't get to the admin page or the www share set up for HTML access. RAIDar says everything is up and healthy. The admin page shows the "ReadyNas Admin is offline" page. Firmware is 6.6.1 - but before this happened it said that was the most current (although I see it's not). What am I missing? How can I correct this?Solved2.4KViews0likes3CommentsNAS Rn104 Warning Volume media capacity 30% to 5% & System volume root's usage
Hi NAS has been offline for many weeks but I could access using local computer and IP address 192.168.... I had tried logging off, Exiting, clearing browser history and rebooting, some variants of which had resolved the Offline problems in the past. My NAS has often been showing "offline" both to local computer and remote computer. sometimes it seemed to resolve by itself. Away on holiday, NAS returned to the following messages 18 Apr 2017 11:27:22 Less than 30% of volume media's capacity is free. NETGEAR recommends that you add capacity to maintain current performance levels. Continuous protection snapshots will be deleted when volume free space is less than 5%. 18 Apr 2017 11:59:43 Less than 20% of volume media's capacity is free. Performance on volume media will degrade if additional capacity is consumed. NETGEAR recommends that you add capacity to avoid performance degradation. Tue, 18 Apr 2017 12:27:00 Less than 10% of volume media's capacity is free. Performance on volume media is degraded. To improve performance, you must add capacity. 18 Apr 2017 12:46:48 Less than 5% of volume media's capacity is free. Performance on volume media is degraded. To improve performance, you must add capacity. 21 Apr 2017 20:18:57 System volume root's usage is 82%. This condition should not occur in normal conditions. Contact technical support. I then couldn't access NAS via IP address (still showing offline) So I then Shut down NAS by pressing power button repeatedly until LED display reported shutting down. (Whilst doing this LED reported free space something like 98%) Took hours to actually shut down and power off. NSA has 2x 1TB Drives installed with less than 5% space used last time I checked Software version last updated sometime last year, cant remember which version. So within 1.5 hours volume media capacity went form less then 30% to less than 5% What's going on? I haven't had time to reboot nor do I want to until i have some idea of what to do. Kind regards Mike3.1KViews0likes4CommentsNetgear NAS 102 "offline"
I have been running my ReadyNAS 102 for nearly 3 years with no issues. Recently I can no longer access the NAS remotly using readycloud log in. The drive always shows off line. Also, with my Windows 10 laptops I can see the drive and drive folders, however when I click on them they ask for log in credentials. Ive tried adding a windows credential with the log in and password for the NAS, but that did not work. Ive also tried rebooting my modem, the drive, updated firmware, etc. Any suggestions?1.9KViews0likes1CommentAdmin only access via discovery, offline error
I am running Firmware version 6.6.1 for weeks with no issues. Now I cannot access the ReadyCloud home page (the NAS icon is grayed out) and NAS says offline. The NAS is actually running, connected properly as I have not changed anything. I rebooted router and NAS. Running Windows10 and it sees the NAS but cannot access, it will not accept my password, however I can access the admin page via discover on ReadyCloud. Also ran RAIDar and everything says healthy. I don't understand how this occurred or how to fix since I did nothing to provoke this.Solved1.1KViews0likes1CommentCan't connect to new Windows 10 computer
I just switched to a new Wondows 10 computer. My RN 202 was working fine under the old computer. I can see it and work with it on my router just fine. After many hours of searching and frustration, I have loaded all the newest versions of software that I can find and searched this Community for help. Nothing has worked. Why is such a simplething so difficult????? All my other devices hooked up just fine. Tired and frustrated3.3KViews0likes5CommentsReadyCLOUD not connecting
I upgraded my Mac Book Pro and IMAC (both on Sierra 10.12.1) to ReadyCloud 1.4 and now it will not connect. When I use the Readycloud app, it shows "Disconnected" when I try to access the admin page through the readycloud.netgear.com after I am logged in, I get "The admin page can only be accessed with you on the same network LAN as your device". When logged in through the readycould.netgear.com web page I can access by music, pictures etc.. but I cannot get to the admin page as I mentioned. Accessing the Readynas through my IPAD works using the ReadyCloud app. Using Netgear RAIDar finds the Readynas displaying the serial number, healthy status, firmware 6.6.0, IP address and both drives with check marks. I cannot access using the shown IP address using either Chrome or Safari as it trys and then comes back with the message page that it might be too busy, it maybe booting up etc. If I try the discover page and hold the backup button for 5 seconds it finds the ReadyNAS and then when you hit the "manage" button it goes through the same "connecting to the ReadyNAS admin page", it times out and comes back with the same message as above (maybe busy, rebooting etc.) I have tried reloading the Readycloud app on both the IMAC and the Mac Book Pro with the same results. I have even rebooted the ReadyNAS 212 twice with the same results. Rebooted the entire network, same result. Note that everything was working fine until I did the upgrade to 1.4 and nothing else has changed. What next???4.2KViews1like9CommentsRN214 Readycloud offline on web, OS 6.5
Have been able to access via Readycloud for a couple of months with no issue. Now when I try to access via web either via the www.readycloud.netgear.com or the Win7 client, I am getting an offline. This seems to have happened when Comcast did a reset of my modem which is in bridge mode, suspect that ip address has possibly changed. I have no issues accessing unit when on the local lan either by direct ip address, or via www.readycloud.netgear.com. Anyone have any thoughts?Solved6.9KViews0likes18Comments
