The firmware for the ReadyNAS RN212 has not been updated for a long time. At this point, I no longer expect any functional improvements. https://www.netgear.com/support/product/rn212/ However, what I want from NETGEAR is a clear announcement regarding whether or not security issues, if discovered, will still be addressed. If the product is completely unsupported, that should be clearly stated as well. Typically, when a product reaches End of Life (EOL), it is explicitly noted in red text on the firmware page. The issue here is that there is no such indication, yet the firmware has not been updated for an extended period, and there has been no official announcement whatsoever.55Views0likes2CommentsBonding Eth1 and Eth2 in RN21200 and Netgear R8000 router
Hello. I have version 6.6.0 of firmware on my model RN21200 (this is confusing because the model number in the admin page is "ReadyNAS 212" and when I registered this, is is listed as "RN21200" in My Products list!!!). I want to optimize my ReadyNAS's connection to my LAN. Currently, l connected the two Ehternet ports to a Gig switch, which, I'm sure is not a L3 switch. I bonded the two ports using "Adaptive Load Balancing" mode. Question: I have a Netgear R8000 Nighthawk wireless router. Does this router support "IEEE 802.3ad LACP" mode? Thanks in advance.Solved4.8KViews0likes3Comments
