Hi, may anybody now why the "Data" volume shows the following strange negative space and only the snapshot space is shown? FW is 6.9.3 I can access my data using win10 explorer. Data seem to be there. Furthermore the backup share shows a strange figure for the consumed space, too: Thanks for any help:smileyhappy: CarstenSolved2.4KViews0likes8CommentsCannot install Apps on 6.8.0
Any attempt on 3 different ReadyNAS's (just updated to 6.8.0 firmware), to install downloaded App .deb files results in "cannot read property 'childNodes' of undefined" error. Doesn't matter which app I try, always get the same problem. Using 'system/settings/install firmware' button and uploading relevant app .Deb file just downloaded from 'Apps/available apps/install'.'Management service is offline' after 6.7.4 upgrade
I inadvertantly kicked off the firmware update to 6.7.4, and now although my RN314 has rebooted, and the display cycles between displaying ReadyNAS 314 6.7.4 and displaying the current state of a resync on the expansion volume (EDA500), I cannot access the Admin Page. The browser continually recycles at the end of the thermometer bar, and RAIDar lists "Management service is offline" as the status. (Both reflect Firmware: 6.7.4). I found an earlier thread and re-kicked off the firmware update, incase it hadnt completed - no change. I have an RN314 with 4 x 4TB WD40EFRX, and one EDA500 attached to the READ eSATA port with another 5 x 4TB WD40EFRX drives. I know the front eSATA port on the RN314 is shared eSATA / USB 2.0 - but is there anything to prevent plugging another EDA500 in there? Has anyone tried this?ReadyNas 314 (6.5.0-T338 - Retry startup)
Hi, Parts of my shares stopped working, so I did a proper reboot of my ReadyNAS device. It now won't restart, every time it does it says 'Retry startup' I let it start fully, no shares work, the admin is un-usable. RAIDar - detects the two IP/networks whilst its about 50% booting until it then says 'Retry startup' It advises the info.. then it soon changes to ' Management service is offline ' . Neither IP works and is unresponsible to SSH in.. Very worried.. I have 9TB in this thing.. I have been getting emails the last fwe weeks stating: System volume root's usage is 92%. This condition should not occur in normal conditions. Contact technical support. This has been on-going, and I tried looking at it a while ago and did clena up some space, but it never went away... What can I try!!?4.3KViews0likes18CommentsRN 314 reports 2 fans
HEllo One more new bug after I upgrade to 6.6.1 on the RN314 of one of my customers, performances page shows 2 fans now and the second one report 0rpm, so readynas sent alerts all day long.! Very annoying. I'm pretty sure there is only one fan within a RN314, am I wrong ? Temperatures are OK and fan1 speed report normally, how can I disable this fantom fan ?3.6KViews0likes3CommentsWhen I select Available Apps on my Atom based RN31400, it shows nothing. Why?
Are there really no pre-built Apps for the non-Intel ReadyNAS series? When I select Available Apps, nothing ever appears. Do I need to cross-compile my own? That would require root ssh access right (which would void my brand new warranty)? Whats the deal?SolvedReady Cloud problems.
Hi I'm not too competent but need help so treat me gently! We have a NAS drive rn314 in the office, been working for over a year fine and dandy. I know have sorted out backups and am going to look into the replicate function soon too. Currently I am having problems accessing over the internet using readycloud. I migrated my readycloud account to a mynetgear account. I log in and can see the graphic of the NAS drive, but it says there is no volume? I had an IT guy in to help me go through all of this and he could lo into it and see all the file structure o his (android) smartphone so I thought yay it works, I'm now at home and need som efiles but I am at a lose. Before we did anything we updats the firmware to 6.5.1 I think Any simple pointers? I have tried firefox and edge browsers. I am on a windows 10 laptop currently Thanks (I hope) RossTiny Tiny RSS - Anyone got it working?
Hi, I'd like to get Tiny Tiny RSS working on my RN314 with fw 6.5.1 but can't find any information on its use on a ReadyNAS. I've downloaded v1.0.0 and v1.14.0 but both have me stumped. I put in the username, password and database name as directed but get the following when I hit "Test Configuration": Checking configuration Configuration check succeeded. Checking database Unable to connect to database using specified parameters. To be perfectly honest I've no idea what to do next. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, dK[null]+2 on RN314 Display
Started failing to attach to shares across SMB, and unable to get to admin page via HTTPS. The only option was to reboot the NAS. When finished booting it displayed [null]+2 on the case display. Admin page then available for a short period, but shares still not available via SMB. Nothing obvious in logs available via admin page. Have downloaded the logs but don't know what I'm looking for. Can anyone help? Thanks.Solved3.3KViews0likes7Comments
