Readynas Pro 6 - Err Used disks Check RAIDar
Hi everyone, Yet again for the second time I find myself in unknown waters and issues with my unit. I am running 6.4.2 (have been afraid of uprading) on legacy ReadyNAS Pro 6. I was running 6x1TB drives and 1 HD broke few weeks back and I have not had time to replace. I woke upp some days ago to an unrespsonive NAS, could not reach it So I performed a hard reboot, keep powerbutton pushed. After the reboot I am now confrontend with this message: ERR: Used disks Check Raidar I have found previous forum post and it seem to be related to OS partition not working? I am hoping that mdgm can once again save me please.
readynas pro 6 is not playing nice.
I upgraded the frimware from 6.7.?? to 6.8. After firmware I have attempted to back up data. During transfer, nas has become unresponsive and disappeared from my network. Anyhow, I rebooted the nas and it came up with : ERR used disks (dirty disks). I reinstalled OS and then it just gets stuck on checking FS. or after a reboot, i return to my dirty disk error. Hello. I've been googling around a bit but I cant find a solution to this... I cant seem to login to my Itunes Media Server. I have checked the password from /etc/mt-daapd, but I cant find a userename there, so I tried blank, admin, Admin, user, User, users, mt-daapd and well pretty much all I can think of. The weird thing (?) is that my password is listed two times, where the *general' password has a space in it before the two last letters. How can that be? Hi, Every one. I bought the Dropbox app for a few weeks ago and have struggled really hard to get it to work. I have a ReadyNAS Ultra 2 x86 model that is running on RAIDiator 4.2.3 i have followed all the installation instruction over and over. with no sync result. when i install the addon everything works just fine to connect the app to my dropbox account. and everything is working fine in addon panel. allt he dotts are green. ( I'm using a Global dropbox) then i go in to the share tab and i create a new Share, named "Dropbox" and boom everything i had on the dropbox just pop in ther. but when i trie to add a folder or a new file nothing will happen. doesn't matter if i put a new file on the dropbox or in the folder on the NAS. it won't sync either way. i have played around the permissons and changed the owner to admin and group to users and vice versa. but with no result. i have tried this like 4 times but with no results. my question to you. would i benefit from doing a manualy update to OS 6.0 and try the addon there or do you have new ideas on what could be wrong? would very appriciate a fix for this problem. i have 450 GB of work files on my NAS that i want to back up with dropbox. :( thanks in advanceTransmission service failed to start
Readynas Ultra 2+ RAIDiator 4.2.30 I have just installed "Transmission 2.82(x86)" from "https://community.netgear.com/t5/Community-Add-ons/Transmission/td-p/632419" It have installed just fine, but when I try to enable it, it says "Transmission service failed to start." Music streaming - Subsonic
Hi, My subsonic has stopped working. I used an old version of subsonic 4.6. Since it is already a very old version I want to upgrade it. I encountered a lot of problems without various different new versions, i.e. 4.9/5.1/5.3. I get messages like no suitable for this architecture or checksum failure when installing. I want to use music streaming again. Anybody who can help me what to do? Thank you, Kind Regards, Eelco de Vries
