Got an email from Netgear US on October 1, 2018 reporting a new firmware needed for the DC112A "We've Enhanced Your Product's Security Please Update to the Latest Firmware." It provides a handy link to download the firmware that it really just a redirection to a guide on HOW to update the firmware. However, the webUI reports no new firmware available on any of my 3 DC112As (all on V1.0.0.34_1.0.60). No firmware is available for download on the device support pages either. The email references "Latest firmware version: v1.0.0.40" but it is nowhere to be found and Netgear has not responded to email. Any idea where I can find this update? Or a changelog of the update so I can decide if it is worth the effort?SolvedAirCard 70S/762S/763S
I've had an AirCard 763S mobile hotspot for a while and for the most part, have been happy with the performance, although I haven't been able to confidently use it as a mobile hotspot because of some security issues. 1) What are the current plans to update to introduce some sort of secure administration interface? When I bought it, I was surprised to find out that only cleartext (HTTP) was available, and I was unable to return. However, the carrier suggested that SSL/TLS was in the works so I've only been using it tethered while waiting for the update. Even the ability to manage via a software utility and disable the web interface would be good. I've tried to reach out to other carriers (North America) and none of them have been able to help, either. 2)) Any plans to address the vulnerability published earlier this yea(https://web.nvd.nist.gov/view/vuln/detail?vulnId=CVE-2015-2054)? In the absence of a proven exploit, and the fact the threat would more likely come via a targeted attack, vs random discovery, it might be less of an issue than the one above, but would still be good to address. The Netgear devices has been blocked in Saudi Arabia - Help us to fix it

Hello, I have the MR1100 – Nighthawk LTE Mobile Hotspot Router (AT&T) that I use for travel and work connectivity. My last Mifi type device allowed me to lock the screen out with a pin or PW which protected it from use by folks who didnt know the Pin/PW. Does this device have the same capability? I have looked, I have set up all the PWs needed from Admin, Guest (automatic PW) and the 2.4ghz and 5Mhz bands.... Problem is, all but the Admin PW is visible from the display screen on the routher when powered on and cycling throught the display screens... Any advise or feedback is most appreciated.SolvedAC800S - Lock access to touch screen?
I've got to be missing something obvious, but is there a way to lock the touch screen on the Optus AC800S? I've switched off the display of the wifi name and password, but as it stands, anyone can wander up to the modem and access this info from the WiFi menu using the touch screen.Touchscreen security
Hi, Is there a way to password protect (or prevent access) to the touchscreen of the AirCard 790S device ? I have changed the administration login password on the web page configuration for the device (from the default "admin") to prevent access to the setting on the web page, but even if I hide the SSID and Password from the front screen of the device, anyone can just access that information by going into the settings function via the touchscreen of the device. Cheers.
