VPN Client Lite
1 TopicVPN Lite Client License not available after uninstall
Hello, Just uninstalled the VPN Client lite on a Windows 8.1 Pro laptop so we could move it to another system. The uninstall ran to completion with no error messages. Tried installing the VPN Client lite on another system and got the message that the VPN Client License is still in use. Went back to the W8.1 laptop and control panel programs does not indicate that the Netgear Client Lite is installed. However on my desktop, the icon is still there and when I click on it, I can still bring up the tunnel and VPN into our site. The Netgear folder is still in the Program Files folder and the uninstaller is no longer in there. I tried reinstalling on the W8.1 laptop and it says there is already and installation and that I should click "OK" to replace the existing installation. The window closes and nothing else pops up. The VPN tunnel still works after that. I have two items that I need to resolve now: 1) How to get the VPN client lite software completely uninstalled from the W8.1 laptop; 2) How to get your license server to free up our existing license key. I see that other people have encountered the same license issue previously and that you had to manually reset the license server to free up the key.
