Wifi Connection

Just purchased the C6300 cable modem router and pretty much any time I try to connect a new device on WiFi, the WiFi connection drops for all connected devices and the modem has to be rebooted. After rebooting, I can connect the new device and everything reconnects fine. If I try to add another device after an hour or so, the same problem occurs. I reboot the modem and I can connect again. This has happened at least 5 times in 2 days, so it isn't a coincidence. I am a Comcast customer and when this happens, the internet connection is not lost (so my ethernet connected devices continue to work). It is a router issue. I'm on firmware version 2.01.14. I know there are a lot of reported similar issues, but I haven't seen a solution yet. Hoping someone out there can help. Thanks.2.5KViews0likes8Comments
